Music for Children
Introduce music theory, musical instruments and ensembles to children
With the help of Trudi Treble and Barry Bass, you can teach children the language of music, the clefs, the stave, the notes and rhythm, with great games along the way, such as making your own edible stave and notes with strawberry laces and smarties or M&Ms. It gives detailed advice such as how to hold a recorder properly for very young children to using a chocolatey finger to learn how to blow into the instrument.
Schubruk Duo
Brass Duets
The Shuebruk Duo, named after Richard Shuebruk who wrote the famous trumpet and trombone duets, is made up of Becky on Trombone and her husband Sean, who is a trumpet player. They specialise in interacting with the audience and talking about their process and repertoire, which they find audiences love. They work with every client and can recommend pieces or programme a full concert.
Gemini Brass
Professional Brass Dectet
mini Brass was formed in 1980 by Bob Vivian to promote brass chamber music, playing music from 16th Century to the present day encompassing a wide range of musical styles.
The group has performed in numerous concerts and music festivals across the country and abroad, including broadcasts on BBC Radio 2, local radio and have appeared on BBC TV. They have also accompanied many solo musicians including Crispian Steele-Perkins, John Wallace, Steven Mead (Euphonium) and the Soprano Laura Wright.
